“ Been hearing some good reviews from friends so thought I would give it a try with my dad who has gluten dietary issues so they had 2 separate menus which helped us out I went for the pork belly while dad went for the steak the service was fine yes there was a little wait but that was worth the wait when the food came out the presentation was something new for me but got the thumbs up same with dads steak . The taste of the food didn’t disappoint either the pork just was cooked perfectly with all the fancy herbs plus fancy potatoes to go on the plate it was a very satisfying meal so we hope to call back soon plus the log fire burning had a nice calming effect the service was spot on if there was any slight issue the food quality was banging . ”

“ Called in on a Sunday lunch today on our way home from a Christmas break and the staff were very welcoming and accommodating. We hadn’t booked but they found us a table even though we just fancied a drink. However the smell of Sunday dinners tempted us but we couldn’t have eaten a full roast dinner so we’re thrilled to be able to just order sides. We had Yorkshire pud with pigs in blankets and gravy...or ‘A Yorkshire Tapas’ Really scrummy and obviously home made Yorkshires. Although not near home for us we would deffo recommend and call in if passing. ”
